Happy Halloween

Hope you all have a Fun and Safe Halloween! Trick or treating with us tonight, we will have Hannah Montana, Batman and a cute lil' Spider! The kids are so excited they can barely stand it {they were up at 5:45 this morning...does that seem excited to you?}! I have meatballs ready to go in the crockpot for meatball subs tonight so we can start trick-or-treating right after dinner! Very yummy and so easy (recipe below)... And this weekend we are making caramel apples! Lots of fun! I love this time of year, but I still can't get used to trick or treating in warm weather! :) Today is supposed to be 85 degrees! (These pictures are from a fall fest from 2 weeks ago where the kids dressed up in their costumes).

Open Faced Meatball Subs
24 frozen cooked Italian style meatballs
1 26 oz jar super chunky pasta sauce (I used vegetable but mushroom was suggested)
1 15 oz can Italian style tomato sauce
1 5.5 oz can spicy tomato juice
6 Hoagie rolls split and toasted
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
Combine first 4 ingredients in a crockpot. Cover and cook on high 1 hour. Reduce heat to low and cook 4 1/2 to 5 hours or until slightly thickened. Spoon meatball mix onto rolls, sprinkle with cheese.

Hey..I have not seen you in FOREVER!! Looks like you had a blast on your cruise. We will have to get together soon. Your kids are so stinkin' adorable! We are going to be in your area tonight hanging out at one of my friends sisters house. Maybe we will see you.
