If you have never heard of Elf On a Shelf (Carol V. Aebersold and Chanda A. Bell), you should really check it out! Day #11 was all about Buddy the Elf -- not the movie version, but this little guy. This guy reports to Santa every night to tell him what good boys or girls we have (or NOT) :)
His job is to fly home to the North Pole every night while the kids are sleeping and make it back it time before they wake up in the morning...always landing in a different place. This is the first night that he has come out of hiding. The kids are already looking forward to 'finding' Buddy in the morning! And remember, he is ALWAYS watching!
