My mom is visiting and arrived on Friday night and we have already had so much excitement, some we could have done without! ;) Saturday we took the kids to McDonalds and afterwards they played on the playscape which thrilled them. Today was in the 80s and HOT!!! While we were outside playing, Ty fell on Tucker's water bowl (I suspect with the help from Declan) and cut his face right under his eye. After debating what to do...Ty hardly cried and it bled very little, I took him to the emergency clinic where he got the glue stitches. Thank goodness I went with my instinct and took him. The doctor did say it would probably scar though, which makes me sad. Ty was a trooper at the doctor's office! They cleaned it and had to mess with getting the cut to close in order to glue it and Ty did not make a peep! Just leaned against me and was so good even the doctor asked if he was always such an angel...well, sometimes is the answer! :)
