Declan-isms

1. Can I have one more chance? - said anytime he gets in trouble or is told to go to time out
2. You are a mean mommy, daddy, grandma...list goes on. - said anytime he doesn't like some punishment or something we have done to him
3. I promise... - as in I will never do it again!
4. I'm sorry... - after he has done something we are mad at him for...said about every 5 minutes!
5. I can't... - when asked to clean up the toys - go to his room - share, etc.

Declan story - we were cleaning the upstairs kids playroom and moved the train table to clean. Underneath the train table were 4 or 5 muffin wrappers and about that many half-eaten cinnabon muffins that we had made yesterday! The kid had gone underneath the table to eat the tops off that were covered in icing! So, as he is sitting in time out he says...

"I am angry with you two (meaning my mom and I) because you wouldn't give me one more chance!" That boy is something else!!!
