A Milestone and a carnival

Today was the last day of kindergarten for Logan. It was a bittersweet day. We are so proud of everything that Logan accomplished this year, but it seems as though the time just flew by. She has turned into a great reader and a very neat writer.

We are now in full on summer mode. Our days will be full of Schlitterbahn, the pool and camp. Logan is signed up for girl scout camp, an art camp and 2 weeks at a parks and rec camp where she will go swimming, play mini golf, go out on the lake in a paddle boat and much more. Here is a picture of Logan on her last day as a kindergartner. First grade, here we come!!!

Tonight we went to a carnival that I helped to organize for our mom's group. Even though it was in the 90s, the kids loved playing all the games that the mommies and daddies in our group put together and we were lucky enough to get a pack of cupcakes during the cake walk. Hmmm...I wonder who forced her to choose the cupcakes. :) We have a very busy weekend planned full of bbqs and get togethers and it is supposed to be another hot weekend!
