Well, our girl has 'meet the teacher' for kindergarten tomorrow afternoon from 3:30-5pm! We are ALL nervous and very excited to start this new chapter! (I can't believe she is actually starting school---real school!) We are so proud of her! She will be starting kindergarten in a dual language program. This means that most of her day will be taught in Spanish! She will get Math and PE in English! That is a lot for a kindergartner who only knows a few words of spanish, but we think she can do it!! We have done our school supply shopping and some back to school clothes shopping. We are awaiting a package from Aunt P with a new back pack and lunch box to start the new school year with. Who else??? Hannah Montana. I know that was going to be your next question! ;) We hope to get her teacher assignment today. There are two dual language kindergarten classes at her school. We hope once she get's inside the building she will be bursting with excitement! OK, maybe not bursting, but we hope it will calm her nerves some. Afterwards, Ryan and I are taking her out for a special dinner just for the three of us! She chose Rudy's of course!
