The Day before...

School starts! Wow! Still can't believe that we have a girl going into kindergarten! We went to meet the teacher on Thursday and actually ended up taking her out of the dual language program there. We went Friday morning to register her at another school, which is actually our base school and I am so happy that I went with my gut and she will be starting Mrs. M's class tomorrow. I heard that Mrs. M made teacher of the year last year, so that was great news! She was allowed to choose anything she wanted for dinner tonight and she chose hot dogs, broccoli, baked potatoes and brownies for dessert! Yep, out of anything she could pick -- that is what made the list! We have her lunch (partially) packed for tomorrow, her outfit chosen and her shoes all picked out! Ryan and I are both going to bring her to school and then Ryan will be out of town for most of September! Yes, minus 5 days, Ryan will be traveling a lot of September! Coming home here and there in between to use the "hotel"!
