The County Fair! Sugar High, Carnival Rides and Cows!

Well, my neighbor talked us in to going to the fair tonight after Logan's cheer practice! I am thoroughly exhausted but it was so worth it! The kids had a great time, but Ty was the biggest trooper of the night! Although he was dog tired he did nothing but smile and turn his head from side to side to see all of the excitement! The car ride home is when he let loose with the screams! ;) No sooner did we get home, (9pm - way past his bedtime)give him a bottle and he was out like a light! Declan was amazed by the whole thing and played his first carnival game and won!!!!!!!! He threw a dart and popped a balloon! He won a stuffed snake! He was so excited (I know, definitely scary looking back on it! Declan with a dart??? Maybe not such a smart idea...) Here were some highlights of the evening! Oh, and Logan even rode the ferris wheel! Tomorrow there is a 3 hour parade (yes, 3 hours!!!) and Logan will be on the cheerleading float in her new uniform! No school for the parade - yep, it is an actually school holiday! One of my friends always tells me how lucky she feels to live here...she said it feels just like living in the movie "Hope Floats." I always roll my eyes and laugh at her, but to be honest, tonight, I did feel like we lived on the set of Hope Floats! I am finally enjoying the benefits of a small(ish) town. We finished off the night with ice creams, potato curls, cotton candy and sodas! I think we all left with stomach aches. We were all on a major sugar high! Life doesn't get any better than this!
