To My Children...

Daddy comes home tonight and I know that you are all excited! While we all missed him, I think that we managed to still have fun, through all the tears, all the frustration and all the stress of just having mommy here. I am sorry if I was in a hurry instead of laughing at your silly jokes, sent you to your room instead of hugging you or didn't get down on the floor and play with you more. I am sorry if I seemed stressed out some of the time and said "Hurry up we have to leave" instead of "I love you" more!

Ty --- I loved our "quiet" time tonight! I loved rocking you while you took your bottle and holding on to you a little longer than I needed to. I can't say enough what a sweet sweet boy you are. You have the best disposition ever and I always want to remember that! I love you little man.

Logan - Thanks for putting your brother back to bed when he came out of his room! When I got finished putting Ty to bed and I asked where Declan was...you said, "I put him to bed." Then you gave a huge smile. And you know what? He didn't get back up. You did a great job being the little mommy that you always are. Sometimes I have to remind you that I am the mom and I will make the decisions for Declan. ;) You did a great job today at the parade after you got over your shyness! You looked so pretty in your uniform and makeup. (We won't tell daddy about the makeup!) I love you pretty girl!

Declan - You are such a little jokester and I am sorry that while daddy was gone you had to "do everything!" I know it must be hard for you to have to pick up the male slack around the house!! ;) You crack me up everytime I ask you to do something and you remind me that you have to do "everything." You were such a trooper at the parade today. It was long and you were hot, but you kept your "cool" and no tantrums. Even though you "wanted to go home and watch Sponge Bob." I love you buddy!
